"Natures Beauty”

"Natures Beauty”

My passion for drawing began as a child expressing my feelings through drawing.

My art work has evolved many times from high school, from majoring in art at Mercy College to now. Over the years I enjoyed designing and making jewelry with local jewelers from carving waxes for fine jewelry at Weinstein Jewelers in West Bloomfield, MI to jewelry renderings at Charles Kent Reaver Diamonds and eventually creating my own designs with pearls and semi precious stones and fun costume jewelry.

After working as a non profit fundraising professional for over 19 years, I’ve slowly returned to my first passion; drawing and painting.

I was been honored to have been accepted and shown my work in a number of juried art shows which include the Birmingham Our Town Art Show in 2010, 2018, and 2019.  As a member of the Farmington Artist Foundation, my work was exhibited in the annual Farmington Spring Art Exhibit in 2010, 2011 and 2012. My art has been on display in the Costick Center Art Gallery in Farmington Hills and in September of 2013 I was the featured artist in the downtown Farmington Library. My paintings have been featured at Mi.mosa Restaurant in Downtown Farmington, MI, The City of Berkley Public Library, Vitrine Gallery and Gifts, Berkley, MI. I've been privileged to become a member of the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club and the Birmingham society of Women Painters.

In January 2019 two of my paintings were juried into the two year display in the Farmington Hills City Hall. Also in 2019, Henry Ford Health Systems purchased three of my paintings for its personal collection. Currently, I have paintings on display in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI as well a solo showing in the Farmington Hills City Hall until mid January 2021.

My paintings have also found homes throughout the United States and allow me to relive travels, feelings and extend those feelings to others.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
